Many cities/towns celebrate Halloween on October 31 as we had stated earlier. But in our "city" that we reside in, we celebrate Halloween the Sunday before. So, this year's Halloween celebration was on October 27. So, we've technically already celebrated Halloween. But the surrounding towns, still celebrate it on October 31. So, the weekend before Halloween, our town has a fun-filled weekend for everyone to take part in such in adult trick or treating on Friday night to kick off the festive weekend. Then Saturday they had events taking place at the local city park for the whole family to enjoy. Then the big bang to end the festive weekend, is the harvest day parade and trick or treating to follow. Our family loves going to the parade every year to see all the cool costumes and how the local businesses have decorated their floats. Plus, the kids get so much candy! Once, the weekend is over, the Halloween celebration doesn't end because we actually have trick or treating at surrounding towns on the night of Halloween. So, you could say our kids get loaded up with Halloween goodies!
So, as we draw the curtain on this year's Halloween celebration, it's clear that this holiday is much more than just costumes and candy. It's a celebration of creativity, community, and the thrill of the unknown. Whether you're hosting a haunted gathering, carving pumpkins, or simply enjoying the festive spirit, Halloween offers a unique opportunity to connect with friends and family while indulging in a bit of magic and mystery. So as October 31 approaches, let your imagination run wild, embrace the spooky spirit and create memories that will ast a lifetime because we know we sure will!! So, on that note, we hope your night is filled with frightful fun and delightful treats!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!
