Celebrating Easter

Easter has always held a special place in our hearts, marking the arrival of spring and the promise of new beginnings. Over the years, our family has created cherished traditions that bring us closer together, and I'd love to share some of these delightful experiences with you.

One of the highlights of our Easter celebration is the beloved egg hunt. Since our kids were babies, we've made it a point to carry on this joyful tradition. Every year, we fill colorful plastic eggs with treats and treasures, hiding them in our yard and around the house. Watching the kids' faces light up with excitement as they search for the hidden eggs is a sight to behold. The giggles and cheers fill the air, and the thrill of the hunt reminds us of the innocence and joy of childhood.

Another cherished part of our Easter festivities is the tradition of hiding the Easter baskets. Each year, I take great care to craft personalized baskets filled with goodies for each child. From chocolates and toys to fun activities, these baskets are a delightful surprise. The anticipation of discovering where their baskets are hidden adds an extra layer of excitement to the holiday morning.

After our egg hunt and basking in the joy of our family traditions, we head to church to celebrate the true meaning of Easter. The service is a beautiful reminder of hope and renewal, and it' s a moment we all look forward to. Following the service, we gather at my parents' house for a festive dinner. Sharing a meal with family, reminiscing about old memories, and creating new ones is what makes this day truly special.

Of course, no Easter celebration is complete without our favorite treats. Sam and her daughters have a special fondness for bunny peeps, those adorable marshmallow confections that bring a smile to everyone's face. The pastel colors and cute shapes are synonymous with Easter, and indulging in them has become a cherished tradition. Additionally, we can't forget the candy Robin eggs, which add a crunchy, chocolatey delight to our celebrations.

Amber, on the other hand, has a sweet tooth for the Sweet Tart Easter candy shapes. The vibrant colors and tangy flavors are always a hit, and she looks forward to savoring them every year. These little treats may seem simple, but they hold a special place in our hearts, reminding us of the joy and sweetness of the season.

As we celebrate Easter, we are grateful for the traditions that bind us together as a family. From egg hunts to church services, and the joy of our favorite candies, each moment is a reminder of the love and happiness that surrounds us.
